A place that offers warm, smiling faces to greet you amidst your travels; food that will warm your heart, your soul, as well as your stomach; and as the name implies, a general store with a wide variety of merchandise.

If you sit and stay a spell, you just might hear tales about the Brown Mountain Lights, local folklore, or even ghost stories of apparitions that are said to haunt these ancient hills.

However, this introduction would not be complete without mentioning our number one attraction, Moses. He is our 14 year old Yellow Lab that is widely known around these parts and is loved by all who meet him. Please come on by and say hello to Moses.
